Using the site
By accessing or using gesture-synth.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Gesture Synth is a general-audience creative tool and is not intended for use by anyone who cannot legally agree to these terms.
02 / Use
Reasonable, lawful use
You may use the browser instrument for personal, educational, creative, and commercial performances, subject to applicable law and the rights of others. Do not misuse the site to:
- break the law, violate rights, or distribute harmful material;
- interfere with the service, bypass security, or create excessive automated traffic;
- misrepresent an affiliation with Gesture Synth or impersonate another person or organization; or
- extract, copy, or republish the website itself in a way that violates intellectual-property or software-license terms.

You control what you record and share
Performance clips are created locally in your browser. We do not claim ownership of the original performance you create with the instrument. You are responsible for deciding where to download or share a clip and for having the rights and permissions required for anything you add, display, perform, or distribute.
System share sheets and external social platforms are operated by third parties. Their terms, privacy practices, content rules, and music-licensing requirements apply when you use them.
Paid video export
Price, delivery and support
Sign in with Google or email and password. Email registration does not require email verification; password recovery uses an emailed reset link. Google sign-in does not require a password. If you already have an email/password account with the same email, you can link it from Account after confirming its password and a code sent to that inbox. Linked sign-in methods share your existing purchases, recordings and remaining unlocks. Accounts are not linked automatically.
Playing, recording and full local preview are free without signing in. A single recording download or system share costs US$9.99. Optional one-time packs cost US$19.90 or US$29.90; the number of recording unlocks included in your offer is shown before payment. There is no subscription. Sign in with Google or email and password to export. Single-purchase recordings can be downloaded for 30 days from payment. Unused pack unlocks do not expire. Using one unlock gives access to one selected recording for 30 days from unlocking; repeat downloads of that recording use no additional unlocks and do not extend its availability. Beat Jam MIDI note export remains free; it contains neither video nor the same audio.
Record and preview for free. To keep a video, choose Download / share video and sign in with Google or email and password. Review the single-recording price or the price and included unlocks for a pack before paying through Stripe-hosted checkout. Confirm the upload of any selected recording to private storage. After buying a pack, choose the recording you want to unlock; purchasing the pack alone does not upload a recording. Find unlocked recordings in My downloads. Preview the take before buying; downloading a purchased file again does not charge for a new recording.
The browser attempts to keep a local preview for recovery for up to 24 hours; this is a recovery window, not guaranteed physical deletion or a backup. Browser storage may be cleared. Uploaded unpaid recordings expire after 30 days and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Files tied to an unresolved payment are held until its status is resolved. Purchased recordings are available for 30 days from a single-recording payment or from a pack unlock, then removed through scheduled cleanup. Unused pack unlocks remain on your account separately from media storage. Downloading again does not extend that period.
For a payment, missing file, technical delivery issue or refund request, contact support@gesture-synth.com with the account email and order details. Do not send card details. A successful full refund or an open or lost payment dispute disables future downloads associated with that purchase and any unused unlocks from that pack; partial refunds keep access. A won dispute can restore access. Copies already downloaded cannot be recalled. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
You keep your rights in your original content. You must have permission for the audio, images, performances and people you upload. Paying for export does not grant rights to a song, backing track or another person's content. You permit us to store and deliver the selected recording to provide the purchase, subject to the stated retention period.
Request a refund review
For a single recording or one-time pack, sign in with your purchase account, open My downloads, and choose Request refund from that paid purchase’s ⋯ options menu. Select the payment, choose a reason and briefly explain the issue. You can also open your refund requests to choose a paid purchase or check an existing request.
Requests are reviewed manually. Submitting a request or receiving an approval does not itself refund money or change your downloads, files or remaining unlocks. An approval means support has agreed to arrange a refund separately through the original payment channel; it is not confirmation of returned funds. We notify support when you submit a request or add information, and email your purchase account when the review status changes. You can also return to the same request to read updates, provide more information or ask for another review. Your saved request remains available if an email cannot be delivered.
If you cannot sign in, cannot find the payment, see an unrecognized charge or need help with a payment already reversed, email support@gesture-synth.com with the account email and available order details. Do not send card details or passwords. There is no subscription to cancel. Nothing in this process limits your statutory rights.

Website and software rights
Gesture Synth’s branding, page design, explanatory text, original demo recording, and project-specific code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Open-source libraries, browser APIs, and third-party names remain subject to their respective licenses and owners.
Mentioning MediaPipe, Tone.js, Google, a browser vendor, or a social platform does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
05 / Service
No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
Gesture Synth is provided “as is” and “as available.” Browser support, camera hardware, permissions, device performance, and third-party APIs vary. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, or update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
